ZDDZ seems to be the outfits all musicians seem to wear. Rita Ora, Lianne La Havas, Nicole Scherzinger, Aluna (from duo AlunaGeorge) and Nicola Roberts are avid followers of the brand. What’s even more exciting is the fact that ZDDZ are now stocked in Wolf and Badger in Notting Hill.

Bomber jackets, blazers and oversized blouses tackle graffiti print in a delicate and decadent fashion, where black and white geometric and paisley prints rumble up a ghetto aesthetic that could be easily worn in any environment. Dark inspiration from life in urban Russia is given a retro revival and spin, with magazine prints from hip hop artists summoning a sense of controlled chaos in the kaleidoscope designs.

There’s an undeniable essence of East End style about ZDDZ, where the party monster crowd could quite happily hijack the collection for nightclub style beats. Dasha is a designer that understands the urban obsession from the street stylers that take a trend and make it their own. Some of the most influential bloggers have worn the collection to New York and London Fashion Week, and celebrities are similarly addicted, with Nicola Roberts rocking up to an event in a ZDDZ bomber jacket.

This is a collection that embodies decadent rebellion…

‘Marianne told me I was 2-dimensional’… Continuing my exciting collaboration with Slashstroke magazine, I was happy to be involved in the making of ISSUE 6, which was called ’2D3D Issue’.

David Poole always has the most crazy and crafty and funny ideas, I admire his approach to work and always look forward to his next project.

This is a capture of my collage called RUSSIA D I submitted to the last issue of the magazine. My home country: surreal, acidy, religious and random as it is. Or as I see it at least x

ZDDZ viral video is on the way!

We had a lot of fun shooting ZDDZ video yesterday. +20 seemed to be a perfect weather and we spend all day filming in various locations around East London just trying to capture that ‘effortlessness’ which this area is filled with.

Had to change a model on the bus, on the street, in a pub etc. She didn’t mind at all but the grannies on a bus did

Ben TRK has travelled a long way from Russia, so excited to have him on board! Can’t wait to see the final edit.

The video is due on the first week of May. Watch this space! x
